Sergio Aragones

I’m thinking and laughing all day long. Every time I think of a joke, I’m also telling myself a new joke. It’s a great way to live.” Aragones. 2009.

I used to love staring at this guy’s drawings in Mad Magazine. He used very little dialogue but maximized every bit of space allowed. His doodles were often printed along the margins and edges of the magazine pages in a style that was so jumbled that it was impossible to just glance over them. Again, this is an experience that just can’t be captured on the internet so here are a few but go to Safeway’s newstand and give Mad Magazine a couple minutes.
